SonicAire ceiling-mounted fans are designed to be mounted to the ceiling in a safe, secure fashion. Altering a mount or "mobilizing" a fan is not advised, as SonicAire fans are not designed or certified to serve as blow-down fans. Please refer to our "You ask, we answer" video here.
